Advanced Care

Our experienced veterinary team provides comprehensive medical care, ranging from routine to advanced procedures and treatments.

Although we handle the majority of your pet’s medical and surgical needs in-house, we occasionally refer patients to veterinary specialists or specialty clinics when advanced training or equipment will be beneficial. Below you will find a list of treatments that we currently offer in-house.

Veterinary Internal Medicine

Internal medicine veterinarians are qualified to perform advanced diagnostic services and create treatment plans for illnesses related to the internal body systems of animals. Our team will help diagnose and treat conditions of the GI system, kidneys, liver, heart, nervous system, endocrine glands, bladder, and respiratory systems. We also treat cancers, blood disorders, and infectious diseases.

OFA Certification

Hip and elbow dysplasia are common conditions in dogs that can lead to pain and long-term mobility issues. OFA Hip & Elbow evaluation and certification allow breeders and pet owners to assess joint health prior to breeding. We recommend OFA certification before breeding a dog, before purchasing a puppy, and when evaluating your dog’s hip and elbow health.

Health Certificates

Many airlines and destinations require a health certificate when traveling with your pet. Requirements vary depending on where you are going, so it’s important to review regulations well in advance of your travel date. Certain destinations require an exam performed by a USDA-accredited veterinarian and may also require specific vaccinations, testing within designated timeframes, and official certificate endorsement. Our team can help guide you through the process and ensure all necessary documentation is completed appropriately.

Blood Transfusions

Blood transfusions, including plasma and other blood products, can be life-saving for pets in critical need. Each transfusion is thoughtfully selected and administered by our experienced veterinary professionals.
